Italian Damigiana (Demi Johns) and Bottiglioni are large Italian blown glass bottles used for storing and fermenting wine. The most beautiful are the antique hand blown glass ones which are over one hundred years old. (no mould marks) In front of a window you see the air bubbles trapped inside and the irregular nature of the distorted glass. Because they are all hand blown each one is unique in size and colour. As you can see from the examples we have at our warehouse they can be used creatively as standing lamps and bespoke hanging lights. They are for sale at £70 each. Lights £300, made to order.
